Exam Contingency Information
We have been informed by the JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications), the providers of regulations and examination practices across the UK, that they are planning to hold an examination contingency day on: -
Wednesday 24th June 2026 – AM and PM
This will be used if a significant, unexpected event arises, and students are unable to take an examination when planned and therefore needs to be rescheduled. Of course, we all hope there won’t be such disruption and that the contingency day will not be required.
All candidates must be available to sit examinations from the start of the Summer 2026 series in May 2026 up to and including Wednesday 24th June 2026, regardless of the dates on their individual timetables.
