A Level Exam Results 2025
Both I, and the whole staff at Uplands, heartily congratulate our departing Year 13s on their successful results this summer.
We are very proud of all our students who have secured their place at university, with a high percentage of those being at their first choice of course and institution.
Whilst excellence is in evidence across the curriculum, this year we would like to give particular honour to our students of Maths, Geography, Media Studies and Criminology, with over two-thirds of students in these subjects achieving A*-C and making expected or better than expected progress.
We want to recognise all our students’ journey: throughout their time at Uplands, our young adults have consistently inspired us with their determination to work hard and to meet and overcome the challenges they have faced. We are incredibly proud and delighted that so many of our students, possessing so many different combinations of talents, continue to flourish at our school and beyond. We salute them all, each and every one, and wish them nothing but the continued success that awaits them in their future endeavours.
Inevitably, it is an especially meaningful year with this being our last set of A Level results. With that said, the context of it being our final year elevates this year’s results even higher and it is a proud note to close this chapter on: with the significant majority of our students making expected or better than expected progress compared to the national average and securing their preferred destination.
As a final note, the Leadership Team would like to sincerely thank all our staff – both teaching and non-teaching for their tireless dedication, generosity of time and professionalism in support of all our students achieving their potential.
We hope that you are enjoying the summer break and look forward to seeing you all in September!
