Regional Athletics Success at Ouse Valley Event

On Tuesday 16 June, fifty of our talented students made the much-anticipated annual trip to Withdean Stadium in Brighton for the Ouse Valley regional athletics event.

The event brought together six schools to compete in a full range of track and field events, including the 100m, 200m, 300/400m, 800m, 1500m, relays, high jump, long jump, triple jump, shot putt, javelin, and discus.

Highlights:

• Quinn (Y8) – 1st in High Jump
• Harry (Y8) – 1st in High Jump
• Daniel (Y10) – 1st in 100m & 200m
• Gabriel (Y10) – 1st in Long Jump

Alongside several other podium finishes, our students showed brilliant teamwork throughout the event, encouraging and supporting each other all day, and most importantly consoling each other after challenging performances. We couldn’t be prouder!
