Post-16 Progression Event Success
On Tuesday 29, September, we were delighted to welcome over 120 Year 9, 10 & 11 students and their families to our Post-16 Progression Event.
Local Post-16 education providers shared invaluable insight into a wide range of qualifications and courses, helping students explore potential pathways after GCSEs.
We hope it has inspired them to think ahead about their futures and discover the right route for them.
Mr. Richards, Deputy Headteacher & Careers Lead, commented, 'We were delighted to welcome so many local providers who generously shared their knowledge, experience and expertise with our students. We were also pleased to host an adviser from the Youth Employability Service, who provided valuable insights into the wide range of pathways into employment, including apprenticeships. Throughout the evening, there were many productive conversations between families and representatives from local sixth forms and colleges, helping students to explore their options and make informed decisions about their next steps.'
A huge thank you to all the exhibitors for making this event possible.
